Turn your phone into a tracking device
Please note, if you want this app to run in the background, you need to add an exception rule to your phone settings for power saving

First you will need to download the app, visit the following link and download GPS TRACKER PLUS for your device

You can use the default settings, however, we recommend using the following settings if you are using the device in a vehicle to simulate a vehicle tracker (useful for evaluating our software if you don't have your own hardware yet)
Open the app and change the following parameters
1. Location accuracy== High
2. Frequency == 60
3. Distance ==100
4. Angle == 30
Switch on the app as shown below
Make sure SERVER URL is set to http://data.gpsiot.net:9055
If you intend to use the app for anything other than testing, we also recommend using IMEI number for device identifier
Due to permissions issues with iOS and Android, we cannot read the IMEI number of your device, we always recommend using your IMEI as the DEVICE IDENTIFIER due to it being an industry standard unique number.
To get your IMEI number, open your phone dialer, and call the following number: *#06#
Enter this IMEI number as the DEVICE IDENTIFIER on the phone app
Then goto our web app, ADMIN/ADD ASSET WIZARD (Choose Apple iOS or Google Android as device type)
Make sure DEVICE IDENTIFIER is matches what you used on the phone app
After successfully adding the device, refresh the web app to view your phones location.
If you have any problems please first visit "status" page on the mobile app to ensure the device is not showing any errors
Please also try and leave the phone outside in clear view of the sky
